About Emily Conklin

Emily Lasko is Conklin Media’s digital marketing strategist, helping our clients grow and scale their businesses through paid search and paid social media ads. Emily, who lives in Pequea, Pennsylvania, strategically analyzes our clients’ current and past marketing campaigns, learning what’s producing successes and where improvements can be made. She also researches the marketing activities of our clients’ competitors. “From the analysis, I work to strategize and implement new ways to achieve optimal growth in leads and sales at a lower cost and higher volume,” she says.

Emily finds it thrilling to elevate clients’ businesses from simple ideas. “With many of our clients, they have these crazy big ideas they never dreamed would be possible, and, with our team’s brainpower and abilities, we work together to make their ideas come to life,” she says. “Not only do we bring ideas to life, but we focus on how our efforts and the ‘things’ we build will help our clients achieve their goals and grow their businesses.”

Emily got involved in marketing by building her first WordPress website when she was a young teenager and developed SEO content for clients at a local digital marketing agency as a summer job. The day after Emily graduated from high school, she started working full time on growing 800-plus revenue-generating websites through advertising, affiliate marketing, and e-commerce sales. She was responsible for the strategy and implementation of everything from basic WordPress website design, HTML, and CSS to content creation and paid advertising.

At Conklin Media, Emily enjoys tapping into marketing channels such as Facebook and new geographic locations that our clients have never had a presence in or marketed to and growing these opportunities from the ground up. “I like setting a new standard and exploding our clients’ leads and sales, helping them to achieve the business growth they’ve been looking for,” she says.

This joy is an extension of Emily’s love of marketing, which she finds a highly engaging and challenging field because of its constantly changing tools, platforms and practices. “There is also so much creative freedom and so many ways to get the results and business growth that align with your goals,” she says.

Outside marketing, Emily enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends. Blogging, shopping and traveling the world are some of her favorite activities and she also loves serving her community and being involved in her church.

About Peter Landis

Peter Landis is Conklin Media’s paid search specialist. This Lewisberry, Pennsylvania, resident manages, creates and optimizes Amazon, Facebook, and Google ad campaigns. He also creates ads for clients and updates websites, implements website tracking, and manages ad-spend budgets.

Peter joined Conklin Media in May 2020 and began to understand quickly how motivated the business growth agency’s clients are to grow. “Our clients are all looking to grow and improve different aspects of their business, and I think it’s awesome being a part of making that happen,” he said.

Peter enjoys learning about the different work our clients do. “I think it’s important to have broad knowledge of many different industries in order to be successful in the business world,” said Peter, who majored in business marketing at Millersville University.

It didn’t take long for Peter to have a major impact at Conklin Media and for our clients. His greatest achievement thus far has been “making Flight Control Plus so successful that they had to hire more staff in order to keep up with their orders,” he said.

Peter is passionate about marketing and watching businesses blossom. “I love helping businesses succeed and seeing the results I can achieve for them,” he said. “I think that digital marketing is the future of marketing, and gaining experience in this industry is going to be very important for my future career.”

When he’s not fine-tuning ads or optimizing websites, Peter enjoys spending time with his family and friends. “I wouldn’t be where I am today without the people I have in my life,” he said. “I am also an avid tennis player. I played in college and will continue to play my whole life.”

About Alex Mallin

Alex Mallin is Conklin Media’s junior paid-traffic specialist. Alex, who resides in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, manages and optimizes our clients’ Facebook and Google ad campaigns. He also coordinates with clients to ensure Conklin Media’s goals align with our clients’ goals.

“I prioritize ROI and treat our client’s partnerships with us as an investment,” Alex said. “They give us ‘X’ amount and, in turn, they make more than ‘X.’”

Alex, who also manages tracking and analytics as well as landing pages to ensure clients get the best results possible, came aboard the Conklin Media team in May 2020 after graduating from Penn State University a year earlier. At this university, home of the Nittany Lions, he majored in telecommunications and built up his repertoire by doing freelance graphic design, video editing, and Facebook and Google ads for small to midsize YouTube and Twitch channels.

Alex enjoys working with Conklin Media’s roster of diverse clients. “All of our clients are great people and are always open to our input and ideas,” he said. “They all have one goal in mind: growth.”

Alex has enjoyed bringing about PPC breakthroughs for clients such as Dorner and Flight Control. “With Dorner, I turned around their Google account, and they are super happy with it now,” he said. “Flight Control has been so successful that they’re concerned about their supply.”

Alex gets a charge out of helping clients breakthrough. “I love putting something out there and being able to see positive responses through data or through post engagement on Facebook,” he said. “I also love it when clients are blown away with how high their sales are after working with us.”

In his downtime, Alex is a fitness fanatic, committed to gym time, and staying healthy through sound eating habits, sleep schedules, and intermittent fasting. He also enjoys technology. “I built my own desktop computer, and my niche interest is mechanical keyboards,” he said. “I also built my own keyboard, maintain it, and am always looking to make it better.”

About Pamela Denlinger

Pam Denlinger serves as Conklin Media’s account manager. She’s on top of hundreds of tasks coming down the pike each month and is in regular communication with the business growth agency’s dozens of clients.

Pam joined Conklin Media in April 2020 and quickly helped ensure projects moved along smoothly. “I make sure that our client’s work gets done!” she said. “From the initial kickoff call to project completion, I make sure that my colleagues have what they need to complete your project. On a month-to-month basis, I work with our teams to schedule our different projects and set them up for success.

Pam, of Mountville, Pennsylvania, also pitches in by testing websites, wordsmithing product descriptions, and helping out with odds and ends that need to be completed.

Pam started her career in the sports world, working for the Lancaster Barnstormers as the minor league baseball team’s marketing and public relations manager. She also spent five-and-a-half years as a director of account management for a Lancaster, Pennsylvania-based digital marketing agency and managing event planning for a premier outdoor living company.

Pam enjoys working with Conklin Media’s industry-spanning client base. “There are so many different industries that we serve,” she said. “There is something to learn about each company. They are all unique and have different needs. The fact that we are able to acquire a knowledge base that helps all of them with their different needs is extremely impressive. It’s great to be able to help them reach their goals.”

Pam takes supreme satisfaction in watching Conklin Media clients’ business grow. “They entrust us with their business, and we take their passion and make it our own,” she said. “From dog bowls to robots, there is something new to learn about each business, and I enjoy seeing our clients provide us the insight into their business and us being able to help their business thrive.”

Pam’s job keeps her on her feet because the marketing industry changes so quickly. From Mad Men until now, the way that marketing has evolved is so interesting,” she said. “Digital marketing is so scientific in some ways (which I am not), but it infuses creativity to spark consumers’ interest. There’s so much you can learn from analytics regarding behavior. What’s not interesting about that?”

When her daily task list is accounted for, Pam enjoys planning trips and traveling as much as possible and eating good food. She also relishes spending time with family and friends and her dog, Sampras. Playing tennis, cooking, and following the Pittsburgh Steelers and Philadelphia Phillies and Flyers are high on her list of favorite things to do. Plus, being involved in “all things Lancaster.”

About Patrick Miller

Patrick Miller is a senior client strategist at Conklin Media, guiding prospective clients and new clients as they talk through their goals and desires for their businesses. “This helps bring clarity to the kind of strategies we could use to bring about the change they seek in their business,” says this Franklin, Tennessee, resident, who once lived in the Lancaster, Pennsylvania, area. “I love that I get to bring my years of experience to the table, inspiring growth and change!”

Patrick thrives on having “big picture” conversations with clients. “I love coming up with new ways to position a product or service to increase profits and sustainability,” he says. “Seeing our clients move toward their big life goals as a result of ideas that I was a part of creating is deeply rewarding.”

Patrick and new contacts often find magic when they get to talking about Conklin Media’s ProfitPaths®. “I love the collaborative, creative and problem-solving conversations that happen!” he says.

Since the mid-2000s, Patrick has served as director and vice president of marketing, sales and operations at different companies. “I’ve had the opportunity to lead through growth, change and transformation and have had the privilege of seeing some great ideas and brands grow and flourish,” he says.

It’s having a window on the process of watching big ideas come to life that fills Patrick with passion and energy. “It’s rewarding to be involved in the early stage of brainstorming and dreaming, and I love to see our clients transform as they engage with us to accomplish things they’ve never accomplished before!” he says.

Outside the marketing space, Patrick appreciates adventures, food, books, fashion and riding motorcycles. He also enjoys seeing people grow and succeed in life. “I get to be part of this up close with my remarkable wife and four lovely children,” he says.

About Tisha Shelley

Tisha Shelley is director of paid traffic at Conklin Media, serving as an expert in generating ad copy that produces scores of clicks for our clients. “I work to develop, optimize, diversify and strategize the paid-media segment of our combined digital strategy for each of our amazing clients,” she says. Tisha joined Conklin Media in October 2019 and immediately began moving from her native Australia to Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Tisha works with business owners who ooze passion for what they bring to the world. Tisha feeds off this energy, helping propel her to “deliver exceptional results” for “the best, most-visionary clients.”

Tisha brings a wealth of varied and deep experience to Conklin Media and its stable of valued clients. She’s served as managing director of a digital marketing agency in Southeast Asia, paid-media director, head of strategy, and owned a private marketing and mentoring consultancy as well as a café with product line and dog boarding center. “I’ve been in the industry of building brands both small and large across the entire world for over 15 years,” she says.

Tisha was roll-up-her-sleeves ready upon joining the Conklin Media team. In less than a month, she built out and began managing a $100,000-a-month account for one of the business growth agency’s especially creative and exciting e-commerce clients. “I adore finding the passion and persona of a brand and really nurturing the development and success of that brand through intelligent strategy and data,” she says. “I look for the meeting of the intangible and tangible to drive amazing growth and real results.”

For a woman who’s traveled and lived across the world her entire life, Tisha admits she’s a homebody. In her free time, she appreciates taking hikes; spending time with Luca, a Shar-Pei rescue dog from South Korea; and preparing and eating foods made from beautiful fresh produce.

About Steve

Steve McMillen is Conklin Media’s technical development manager. The Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, resident is involved in any project at the business growth agency as long as code is involved. “Whether that means delegating tasks to our other developers or firing up the code editor myself, I make sure our technical development projects get done and get done well,” he says. “I regularly interact with clients and bridge the gap between the complicated world of developers and leaders driven by business decisions.”

Steve enjoys working with the agency’s clients. “Our clients are hungry for extracting the full potential from their businesses,” he says. “They are eager to hear ideas and solutions from the outstanding team that has been assembled here at Conklin Media, and we are just as excited to be helping them grow and reach those goals.”

On almost every project he’s worked on, Steve has been able to dismantle the notion that development teams are unresponsive and slow. “I love demonstrating to clients that we are something different by giving them quick turnarounds and creative solutions when other agency have failed them,” he says.

Steve has been writing code and managing projects since 2007. He’s developed games, web apps, e-learning content and, of course, websites.  From touching up front-end CSS to writing Javascript libraries, custom APIs, server-side logic and database schemas, Steve, who relishes the creative process, has written code for every part of the web development process. “I’ve managed development projects that cost over $500,000 and spanned a full year, involving teams of designers and developers,” he says.

When he’s away from his computer rig, Steve loves being creative some more, spending time in his woodshop or working on his home. He also loves simply enjoying creation. “I love traveling with my family and enjoying the wonders of God’s creation,” he says.

About Craig

Craig Scott is Conklin Media’s site optimization SEO manager. Craig, of Christiana, Pennsylvania, helps implement strategic growth plans for the business growth agency’s clients. He ensures all tracking and data collection tools are connected and reporting properly as well as creates plans for off-site search engine optimization and outreach to help grow businesses through organic traffic. “Whether it is working on a landing page or building a link, I am focused on growing traffic and increasing conversions,” he says.

At Conklin Media, Craig is thrilled to learn about our clients and their industries, products and services. “We work with some amazing companies that took really cool ideas and made them into a business,” he says. “Each time I meet a new client, I learn something.”

Before joining Conklin Media, Craig worked in the radio industry and taught communications at a technical college. He pivoted to the marketing industry in 2016, specializing in digital marketing and business growth, while growing his skill set in SEO, e-commerce and email marketing.

Craig enjoys the creativity and no-holds-barred approach of marketing. “I love that this is a line of work where no idea is off the table,” he says. “I love looking at a business and building a strategic plan to grow it. When you are brainstorming, there are no boundaries or restrictions.”

Outside work, Craig participates in several hobbies, all of which take him to the great outdoors. “The more time I can spend on a boat or in the woods, the better,” he says. Craig is also passionate about food—specifically eating it as opposed to preparing it.

About Brian Rossiter

Brian Rossiter is Conklin Media’s content manager, serving as a jack-of-all-trades writer and editor. Brian, of Lower Providence, Pennsylvania, enjoys writing website, blog, white paper, infographic, email and any other kind of copy for Conklin Media’s 60-plus clients. He also enjoys discovering all the many ways our clients are unique in their industries. “It’s exciting to be able to learn about what makes our clients stand out and how we can shine the brightest spotlight on them,” he says. “I want to celebrate the energy that defines every one of our clients and their enthusiastic customers.”

After joining Conklin Media, Brian discovered quickly how engaged the agency’s clients are. Some open up during conference calls about different directions he can take in crafting copy designed to play up clients’ strengths. Brian appreciates having opportunities to chat with clients, gleaning valuable information that can elevate his work for them. “These connections make it possible to get to the core of what makes our clients special,” he says.

Brian has been in the communications field since 1996, interning at several newspapers throughout college before working full time as a copy editor and page designer at a Knight Ridder newspaper and municipal reporter and features writer at a Gannett newspaper. Brian has been in the marketing industry since 2005, working as a public relations specialist at Drexel University, senior publicist and marketing communications coordinator at an NPR–PBS member station, content marketer at a wire and cable products supplier and webmaster for two natural health practitioners. In recent years, Brian has focused on content marketing, search engine optimization and social media and desires to master the gamut of marketing.

In his free time, Brian is passionate about building his natural health brand, Fruit-Powered.com, and coaching clients to mastery of a fruitarian diet and posture exercises, helping them eliminate health conditions and chronic pain as well as experience peak performance in all they do. He’s a six-time author and publishes a free magazine, Fruit-Powered Digest, designed to help people elevate their lives. Brian enjoys spending time in glorious nature and pursuing growth in natural health and personal development.

About Josh

Josh Eberly is Conklin Media’s chief operating officer and one of three partners in the marketing agency. Josh is a full-stack marketer with an entrepreneurial streak. This Millersville, Pennsylvania, resident enjoys turning our clients’ vision for success into a reality. “Often, business owners struggle to understand how digital marketing impacts their bottom line,” he says. “I help them plan and execute strategies to not only grow their companies but give them deeper insights into how marketing drives results.”

Josh has worked on more than 1,000 websites, helping increase yield, drive revenue and launch marketing campaigns.  At Conklin Media, he implemented one simple fix after a single meeting with a client that increased year-over-year revenue by $1 million. With another client, Josh helped grow sales connected to Facebook from $50,000 a month to more than $250,000 a month in less than three months. Finally, Josh was part of the Conklin Media nucleus that helped build BulkMemoryCards.com from zero revenue to $2 million in sales a year in less than a year.

One of Josh’s favorite aspects in working with Conklin Media’s diverse and growing client base is developing personal connections. “A family-like bond exists with many of our partners, and we will often text each other outside the confines of work,” he says

Josh remains on the leading edge of marketing trends, capitalizing on all ways to help our clients grow their profits. He enjoys the ability to reach anyone at anytime with a targeted offer that matters. “There is no better feeling than having someone buy your product or service and later write a raving review,” he says. “Helping business owners actualize this is my passion.”

When he wraps up his work day, Josh enjoys spending time with his wife, Julie, reading about investing, developing his real estate business, exercising at a gym, watching sports and debating life’s deeper issues.

About Matt

Matt Self is Conklin Media’s chief revenue officer and one of three partners in the marketing agency. Matt is responsible for all incoming revenue, from sales to billing. This Lancaster, Pennsylvania, resident was born in Michigan (and is a vocal University of Michigan Wolverines fan, to the chagrin of some Penn State University Nittany Lions fans in the office) and lived in several states before setting down roots in Lancaster, where he married a county native.

Matt’s chief responsibility is in the acquisition of new clients. Matt embraces a consultative rather than a salesperson’s approach when reaching out to business leaders local, nationwide and global, helping them understand the value ProfitPaths™ and other Conklin Media approaches can bring to their businesses.

“I have the privilege of talking with business leaders from all across the globe and consulting on a wide range of unique business models,” Matt says, adding that he enjoys the variety of our clients’ businesses. “I have a soft spot for those who’ve been ‘burned by other marketing agencies’ in the past. So when I hear clients say they’ve ‘never worked with a team like ours’ and never seen such ‘quick results,’ I take great joy in this.”

Matt started his career in teaching and athletic administration and transitioned into business and marketing, specifically, in 2005, joining forces with Dave Conklin, Conklin Media founder and chief executive officer, at GetMyHomesValue.com. Matt helped grow this website and then served as vice president of a digital marketing agency that saw 200 percent revenue growth and 300 percent employee growth. To help facilitate this growth, he and two other founders launched a recruiting company that specialized in digital marketing, creative and IT positions.

Matt’s people-first approach, combined with a belief in digital marketing and technology as a means to grow business, has been a driving force throughout his career. He has enjoyed the privilege of working with and helping grow hundreds of clients, ranging in size from startup to Fortune 500. Matt makes it a priority to stay on top of emerging marketing trends. “Marketing approaches and tactics are changing so frequently that I have to be passionate to keep up!,” he says. “Our clients expect strong, positive ROIs, and to meet these expectations, we must be on the bleeding edge of technology.”

Beyond his career, Matt’s passion is fulfilling the mission of Jesus Christ. “This drives me to love all, behave ethically, work diligently and order my life according to His plan,” he says.

About Adam

Adam Perry is Conklin Media’s visual media director, responsible for any project featuring visuals such as graphics, websites, videos and interactive elements. “If you can see it, it goes through me,” he says.

Adam, of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, enjoys how the entire marketing team at Conklin Media explores clients’ needs holistically rather than first divvying up projects into tasks and working in silos without any sense of integration. “At other agencies, the work is very segmented, and the various items don’t come together to accomplish very specific goals,” he says. “We really look at a client’s customers and needs and create a group of assets and strategies that work.”

Some of Adam’s favorite successes while at Conklin Media are developing ads and a video for Eli Mason. These assets, along with the paid- traffic team’s optimization, helped lead to some of the biggest months the company’s ever experienced.

Adam has engrossed himself in the design and marketing fields since 2006, specializing in conversion-based design, videos, online ads and anything visual. “I like taking an idea to a complete project that works for the client and does what we set out to do,” he says.

Adam is passionate about design and marketing, but he counts his family as his top passion in life. He loves writing and illustrating children’s books and listening to Nick Cave.

About Brian Peterson

Brian Peterson is Conklin Media’s account executive and starts conversations with prospective clients, strategizes digital marketing plans for new clients, crafts portfolios for new clients and closes sales with clients. Brian, of Atglen, Pennsylvania, has been instrumental in helping Conklin Media grow its client base since 2017 to 60-plus diverse clients.

“My favorite thing about working with Conklin Media clients is having the opportunity to analyze what a company is doing currently—if anything—and strategize approaches to increase their revenue in ways they never thought were possible for their business,” he says. “I love when I am able to uncover simple, low-hanging fruit that a company can put into action now that can either help them save money, make more money or both!”

Brian has earned several digital marketing certifications on his way to helping identify all the many ways Conklin Media can help clients squeeze maximum profits from their businesses. Brian challenges himself to continually seek out innovative tactics to implement into a prospective client’s marketing plan. “I enjoy taking complicated aspects of marketing and putting them into charts and visuals that clearly communicate to clients,” he said. “The biggest compliment you can give me is how much you enjoyed the cold email you received from me.”

In his downtime, Brian enjoys learning about all kinds of things. “If I don’t know something about something, I am compelled to drop what I am doing and look it up,” he says. Brian also enjoys playing guitar, drinking coffee, eating breakfast for dinner and spending time with his beautiful wife, Gina, and two dogs, Bailey and Cooper.

About Dave

Dave Conklin is Conklin Media’s founder, chief executive officer and marketing maven extraordinaire. It’s Dave’s mission to create products and services that propel our clients to growth and success. This Lancaster, Pennsylvania, resident also builds communications strategies to tell the world about our clients as well as ensures Conklin Media has the best team in place to knock everything our clients hand us out of the park.

“Almost once a week, we get an email from a client who shares with us a success that they’ve had because of partnering with us,” Dave says. “This has become one of the biggest joys in doing what we do. When someone goes out of their way to tell you something great—completely unsolicited—you know that you’re doing something good.”

Dave was an award-winning real estate agent before serving as co-founder and president of GetMyHomesValue.com, which earned distinction in Inc. Magazine in back-to-back years as one of the fastest-growing companies in the United States. Dave also served as co-founder and president of ProspectMX, helping companies nationwide through digital marketing.

At Conklin Media, Dave and his leadership team have helped companies land more than 1 million leads and millions of dollars in revenue. Conklin Media offers clients custom marketing strategy development, consulting and training. The Quarryville, Pennsylvania-based marketing agency, serving clients locally, throughout the United States and across the world, also offers website development, social media marketing, paid search marketing and “done-for-you” marketing.

Some of Dave’s favorite achievements at Conklin Media include helping grow Riverwood Cabins’ revenue more than 300 percent in a single year, helping create more than $2 million in revenue from zero revenue with BulkMemoryCards.com and helping an online photo canvas retailer achieve $250,000 in revenue from Facebook traffic in a single month from $50,000 beforehand.

For Dave, the bottom line in marketing is ROI. Whereas some other marketing agencies focus on clicks, views and impressions, these data are inconsequential unless they help tell the story behind blossoming profit margins. “I love tracking,” he says. “The fact that you can literally watch what people are doing on a landing page and make modifications to increase conversions is so cool—and yet less than 2 percent of our clients have any tracking in place when they come to us.”

Outside his career, Dave and his wife, Jodi, are passionate about their faith and very involved with their church. This couple is also committed to helping with water projects in India, Haiti, the Dominican Republic and other countries. “We believe that those who are blessed have a requirement to help those who are less fortunate, and that steers much of our decision-making,” he says. Dave’s also a die-hard New York Yankees fan and lover of Audi automobiles and all things Apple.
